STATE OF EMERGENCY IN KOGI AGRICULTURE

Kogi State Government has declared a state of emergency in the agriculture sector of the State. Speaking through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Folashade Ayoade Arike, the Kogi State Government revealed that the state has declared a state of emergency in the agriculture sector because there's the need to do more to harness the huge agricultural potential of Kogi State.
Dr. Arike reiterated the government's quest to attract investors to the sector by providing a conducive environment and market that guarantees high returns on investments. She confidently declared that investors have nothing to fear as their investments will be secured and will produce profits as the state is more secure than ever before and the ease of doing business in Kogi State is at an all time high under the New Direction Administration of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.
She further disclosed that the political will to develop the agriculture sector of Kogi State is very much present and the Governor will not rest until Kogi State not only becomes self sufficient in food but also produce enough for export to enhance the economy of the state.
