WE ARE NOT MAKING THE PAYMENT OF SALARIES A BIG NEWS – LUGARD HOUSE NEWS

Lugard House News Flash
Saturday, December 17, 2016.
We are not making the payment of salaries a big news because workers are entitled to their pay.
I have received calls from people who have been finally cleared and who have been paid between 4-7 months arrears. This is plausible.
I have interfaced with the Committee and we have facts and figures of what we have paid.
Before the end of next week, we shall publish the full list of who takes what for how many months in the dailies and on our official website to fully sensitize the people.
From January 2017, salaries will be paid before the end of every month. This is what we want to achieve.
To those who didn’t scale through the Appeals stage of the verification, we shall publish the full list and why they couldn’t scale through. Windows of justice shall be opened to keep touch with the promise of the Governor that no worker will be unjustifiably removed from the payrolls.
We appreciate the patience of the Kogi people. We appreciate our critics. We appreciate our supporters. We need everybody contributions to succeed.
GYB will work for Kogi. Kogi should support their Governor to succeed. He did not venture into the verification exercise to punish workers, but to ensure people do not sit in Kaduna and be drawing from what legitimate workers only should take. The exercise is a fight in support of the genuine workers.
With you, New Direction shall transform our dear State.
